Photos from a summer visit to Brown’s Bees and Berries—picking blueberries, sweating in the sun, and stocking up on local honey.
I brought my little vintage digital camera along on a visit to a nearby blueberry farm. It was hot and humid—the kind of day where your shirt sticks and the bucket fills up fast. I picked a good haul and grabbed a bottle of local honey on my way out (I go through a lot of it). 🥰
The woman at the tent noticed my camera and asked if I’d be willing to share some photos. I had already taken a few while picking, and later I shot a few more at home—just enjoying the color and texture of it all.
Nothing fancy—just a few quiet details from a summer morning.
Fun tip: When washing your blueberries, the ripest ones usually sink to the bottom—so if you see some floating on top, they might not be quite ready.
These kinds of everyday scenes tend to find their way into my camera roll.
